As many of you have probably read by now, we have implemented an "A/P Level" button on our new EFIS AP. This is a sort of "panic" button that when pushed causes the A/P to level the wings and elevator.
This was primarily done at the request of some LSA manufacturers, but is available with any new unit. The cost of the A/P Level button hardware is $30. Previously, this feature effectively disabled the Control Wheel Steering feature. This is no longer the case. We have provisions built into the harness of the A/P Level button that allow the connection of a CWS switch also. Thanks!
