I have a DigiTrak with the B servo and inadvertently broke the fillister head off from the shear screw. I need a replacement screw or specs so I might find something at the local fastener store. I see that the screw shank had a relief machined in it.
Thank you.

You'll have to get a replacement from us as we have them machined so they shear with the proper amount of force. Just send me an email or call to get the replacement. Thanks!

Lucas,
I currently have my VSII up and running in my Glasair. I love the autopilot so far. A quick question though. I did not make any attempt to re-torque or verify the security of the screw that holds the servo arms in place. I was afraid I may ruin any thread lock that you guys might have applied at the factory. Should I have checked the torque of the screw or should it be fine right from the factory?

Thanks,
Chad

Chad, you should be good. If you received this AP after 01/09, you already have the new screws anyway. If not, they will already have threadlocker on them. If you want piece of mind, give the office a call and they can mail you some screws as I am away from the office right now. Thanks!
