To date, I have made about 150-175 shipments of replacement screws. We received more requests than we expected, well over 500. I promise we are doing whatever we can to get them out. We lost a week with an ice storm, and then I had a bit of a tiff with Post Office about the correct postage (I think I have that worked out now).

If you didn't receive an error message while submitting your request, then we received it.

To those of you who got redirected to a third party site, I apologize. We were transitioning the submission form to a new format that will allow us to simply print mailing labels, thus speeding up the process. Right now, I have to hand write all the addresses, and that takes a while! Thanks everyone for your patience!

We shipped another 50 or so requests last night. We should have 100-150 more today. We should have everyone's replacement screws shipped by the end of this week. Thanks for your patience!

All domestic replacement screw shipments will be shipped by today. Our international customers are going to take a little longer as we are going to have to fill out customs documentation for every international shipment. This will add considerable time to that. I apologize for the delay, but we will get them shipped as soon as possible. Thanks everyone!

We were able to start mailing the international screw shipments today. We should be able to to get 15-20 out per day. The local post office has requested that we not bring all of them in at once to reduce congestion. Thanks!

Well, we have gotten a lot of the international screw shipments out, but during our last trip to the post office we were, again, told something different. We are waiting a few days to be sure the shipments that went out on Friday do not come back to us, so we should be able to start sending them out again at the end of this week. Thanks everyone for your patience.

Supreme Overlord Dude: How about numbering the service bulletins, similiar to the other manufacturers, for AP and EFIS. An example for the latest bulletin might be: AP 01-09. It sure would be easier to reference and enter into the mx logs. Just a suggestion, Dan.

All screws have now been sent. If anyone has not received their screws within the next couple of days please resubmit the form and we will get them out to you. Thanks!

I have two servo's which might need to comply with the SB on retention screw
replacement. Do you require the SN to determine this?

Hawkeye,

The serial numbers are not required. We didn't want to make everyone have to completely remove their servos to get the serial numbers. If your servos are not of the HB type or very early releases of our servos, then they do apply. Simply fill out the form and we'll get them sent. Thanks!

Dan, I'll look into that and p*** it to my higher ups. The over-overlords! Let's bank on hoping there are minimal service bulletins though!

The volume of requests seems to have pretty much reduced to a trickle. Very soon we'll take down the webform and just do it by hand either in emails, here, or over the phone. I might look into making a dedicated forum here that only admins/mods can see so that addresses can remain private.

Thanks everyone!

The requests for the updated servo screws have dwindled down to nearly nothing. Very shortly we will probably remove the service bulletin submission form from the webpage and just go to a manual system. I will set up a thread here for requests. Thanks!

As soon as we're all up to speed around her this morning we'll take a look at this and see what we can come up with. I'll post back with what we find/figure out/decide/etc. Thanks everyone for the constructive thoughts!
